his browser? Or when the client tries to call a method from the
assembler (e.g. fill)? And when it's destroyed? After method returns? Or
it will remain until the web-app is loaded??

The create/destroy on the Assembler is related to the 'scope' property in the destination.  The default scope is request-level.

With request scope, a new Assembler is created on each request.
With session scope, a new Assembler is created for each new session.
With application scope, a new Assembler is created when the MessageBrokerServlet starts up at application startup.

There is no explicit destroy method for the Assembler.

Subject: [flexcoders] When the assembler classes are instantiated and destroyed?

Hi,

I'm creating an application that uses Flex Data Management and
everything is working fine. I want to add something like a listener in
it that will push external changes in the underlying database to the
clients. In my searches I found some information about
DataServiceTransaction API and believe it's my solution, but I think the
assembler class must exist during the entire application life.

So my questions are: the assembler class is instantiated when the
web-app is loaded in server? Or when the client opens the application in
his browser? Or when the client tries to call a method from the
assembler (e.g. fill)? And when it's destroyed? After method returns? Or
it will remain until the web-app is loaded??
