Hi,
Try using the
measureWidthOfItems(index: int = -1, count:int = 0):Number
and
measureHeightOfItems(index:int = -1, count: int = 0):Number
of the ListBase class.
I have had good luck using these methods. The calculations are based off of the dataProvider. I think this is what you are looking for.
Peace, Mike--On 11/6/06, Rachel Maxim < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:Is there a way to size a tileList based on the contents inside, instead of setting a static height and width or min/max height and width? I'm mostly interested in just having the tile list height only as high as the tiles within it.
I think I could manually calculate the height based on the number of tiles within it to determine the number of rows, and thus the height...but I'm hoping there is a built-in way to do it.
Thanks
Rachel
