You need to know first the index and the field name. If the array
collection looked something like;

public var test:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection
([{one: "1,1", two: "1,2", three: "1,3"},
{one: "2,1", two: "2,2", three: "2,3"}]);

to extract 2,2 you would need

test.getItemAt(2).two

if you only specify test.getItemAt(2) you will end up with [object
object] as text as it is returning the entire row.
