Well I ran into the same issue..
Make sure that mxml which you are launching is in the root folder where all the other html-templates, project settings folders are there If the mxml you are launching is inside some src folder which is not same as the root folder, It wud only result in swf files, If this too doesn't work, I have a brute force method which may not sound cool to you. Create a new project and run the default mxml, It generates the html and other things in debug.. Copy them and modify them accordingly..! I guess u just need to change the .swf target in one of the file and then place them where the actual Launch is excepting it to be.. Now run ! :-) Hope this really helps Cheers, Ravi Gummadi Partygaming plc ________________________________ From: flexcoders@yahoogroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of jamiebadman Sent: Thursday, March 08, 2007 8:12 PM To: flexcoders@yahoogroups.com Subject: [flexcoders] Re: flex main-debug.html won't build... I tried what you suggested, Troy... in fact here's what I did: (1) Deleted the project... *totally* from Flex and Disk. (2) Pulled the whole thing back from CVS (3) Uninstalled all Flash Players (4) Reinstalled the Flash 9 Debug player and... It still doesn't work :-( The app runs - but there's never a 'connection' to Flash Builder for debug. The Builder just times out waiting for the Flash Player to communicate with it. I'm getting desperate now - it's really hard to work on a large application with no debug available. Does anyone have any further ideas ? Is there a way I can confirm that it's Flash Player 9 *debug* that's running when I see a Flash App ? I can't see anything that might indicate one way or the other ?
