Hi Tony, Thank you for your response. I did follow your suggestion about looking for other examples on the web of singleton classes, however, I was unable to find anything that went into details about this. I have been able to gain a general understanding of this design pattern, but am having some trouble using it in my flex app. Would you be able to go into a little more detail about this.
