Hi, just a short clarification. :-) Yes, modestmaps supports actionscript 3, but you have to check out the new AS3 source from trunk. You can find it at:
http://modestmaps.mapstraction.com/trac/browser/trunk We have also managed to use modestmaps with a WMS map server, and all we hat to do was to write a new map provider for the WMS map server.
