Hello... im kind of a noob in flex...
I'm working on an application that have a tilelist with a bunch of
items renderers in it. I'm trying to show a popup with some
information when the event MOUSE_OVER is dispatched from every item
renderer, but the information to be shown depends on the item that
dispatches the event. my problem is setting the position of the pop
up. I want it to be exactly over the item renderer, but i don't know
how to do that... I don't know how to set the x and y of the popUp so
that it shows on top of the items =S
This is the function I use in the mouse over:
public function showPopUp ( event:MouseEvent ):void
{
if (! isShowingPopUp)
{
info.x = this.x; // dont know what x to assign
info.y = this.y - 100; // dont know what y to
assign
isShowingPopUp = true;
PopUpManager.addPopUp(info, this.parent);
}
}
Apparently "this"'s x and y are 0...
Can anyone help me?
