MakeTime is probably not going to add huge benefit to a casual user -
it is a power tool targetted to people that manage overall releases,
rather than specific issues. The other group of people that tend to
adopt it are teams that have lived in JIRA as the primary platform for
1-2 years and have a few thousand issues under consideration as well
as bringing in other systems' data within the MakeTime shell (see the
merged index in the demo login - it brings salesforce, jira and sugar
data i none place). You may also try http://jirademo.maketime.com -
there we have 25 different JIRA servers form various open source
projects in one place.

In terms of usability - have you tried searching for something like this:

"All issues that are not fixed but are closed, related to exceptions
but not related to usability"

With MakeTime you can arrived at the correct set of issues in about 10
seconds - then you can sort it on multiple columns, etc.

Give it a go - and please tell me what you think - the feedback is
invaluable!
