Here is a control for allowing users to easily select special characters for entry in Flex text controls.
Demo with Code <http://www.capitalhcoder.com/> The basic idea is that by adding this control to your app and associating it with a text control, you can then use it to select unicode/foreign characters and add them to the text of the control. I asked about this here on flexcoders a while back and didn't get much response and I couldn't find much at all on the web, so I'm posting it in the hopes that someone might get a jump start from it in the future.
