Hi, Is there an existing function that would allow me to replace accentuated characters with their ASCII equivalents (e.g., 'à' -> 'a', 'é' -> 'e')?
I need it so that I can then do a case-insensitive SQL search, after also converting to upper or lower-case letters. I could write one from scratch, but there must be an existing ActionScript function, right? Thanks, Chris.
