What is your experience or recomendation using ASP.NET or PHP as the data providers for Flex 3? At first glance PHP seems much more prone to errors than ASP.NET.
I am a Flex novice that has built a couple of Flex apps using ColdFusion 8. ColdFusion has made my life so easy implementing Flex. However not everyone wants to spend the cash for the server. Therefore I'm looking at a more "free" solution. My primary focus at the moment is a contact management Flex 3 app.
