Greetings -
I'm noticing a variety of cases where using hideEffect and showEffect
ends up leaving objects invisible when they should be visible.
The basic setup is this:
- Rollovers and rollouts on some surface control the visibility
of a given component
- That component has a showEffect and hideEffect bound to a
fade effect each (one for fade in and one for fade out)
- On relatively slow movements (rolling in rolling out) everything
is fine. But on quick movements, things get confused such that
with the mouse over the correct surface the component which
should be visible isn't.
I have a feeling that this has to with the effects playing while receiving
a bunch of new events as shortening the duration of the effects helps
but this doesn't ultimately solve the problem as I need the longer
durations.
Any ideas?
