Thanks Gordon.

I've tried both in a text area -- and it's not showing up --- I've tried with embedded fonts as well as Helvetica, Verdana, etc -- they're not showing up -- can you tell me how I'm doing this wrong:

<mx:Text width="710" top="20" styleName="infoText" selectable="false" fontSize="28">
                                <mx:text>

                                </mx:text>
                        </mx:Text>

Subject: [flexcoders] mdash in line of text?

Hey - does anyone have any suggestions for getting an em-dash to appear in flex? It's in the font -- but it's not showing.

I've tried —, — -- to no avail.
