1. Compiler switches 'lock' you into one implementation or the other; it's
either local trust or network not both. 2. Customers are always asking "hey,
can you add [feature] here" that crosses the barrier. 3. Expecting
developers to continually hide/smooth over security implementations rather
than placing 'some' responsibility with the customer. The simple answer for
a clear path... is to introduce the client to Flash security and let _them_
manage it.

Why do you say the compiler switches become cumbersome ?
