Thanks Gordon for a new thought, I have not thought of such a use of
HBox. First imaginary task solved for overlapping children in a list
:)
Second imaginary task:
Photo thumbnails are displayed in a grid (not overlapping).
Upon "rollOver" event over the thumbnail an information area is
displayed very close to the photo thumbnail. Actually, this information area
is
displayed in a front of other photo thumbnails with a highest
Z-order.
I do not want to resort to PopupWindow mechanism, it is
slow AFAIK and it is a PopUp in some sense, I would love to use
<mx:State> for photo thumbnail here.
