this will probably be my only post here. I'm not a component
developer. Heck, I'm not even a Flash coder. But I'm stuck with broken
behaviour of a dateField when it's used as an itemRenderer in a
datagrid, and I *have* to get this thing working.
Perhaps it's an incorrect property I've set or I'm just using it wrong?
anyhoo...
what happens is that the dateChooser pop-up fails to render when the
dateField is either in the last column of a dataGrid (as an
itemRenderer) or anywhere in the last couple of rows. This is a
large-ish datagrid that takes up all of the screen.
it's like it wants to render the dateChooser on the bottom right side
- but can't (no room, off the canvas), and there's not enough smarts
for it to appear on the left (or higher) instead. I've used DHTML date
fields before that can do this no problems and I'm really wondering
what I can do to make this thing behave.
is there anything I can do with my (non) level of expertise?
