While traveling across country (I am headed down to Dominica, J7-land) I stopped in to visit the folks at Flex Radio. Last night I had the pleasure of the company of Greg Jurrens and his lovely wife, and then got to spend the morning today with Gerald and the rest of the Flex team. (Sorry I missed you Tim!)
The visit was enlightening to say the least. I got the opportunity to see what is going on and learned quite a bit about what they are doing and how they are doing it. One of the things that was really quite obvious is that these guys are serious about putting out a good product and that they are working night and day to get PowerSDR 2.0, the Flex-1500, and the V/U module out the door. It was also clear that they have *very* good reasons for not releasing them quite yet and everyone who has bought one of these is going to be happier for the delay in the long run. I was also impressed that Gerald took about an hour out of his obviously busy day to sit and talk with me about the things I perceive them doing well and where I thought they could do better. Flex Radio is a great operation. If the radios aren't enough to convince you of that, spending part of a day at Flex Radio to meet and talk to the people there will remove any doubt. -- 73 de Brian, WB6RQN/J79BPL _______________________________________________ Flexedge mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexedge_flex-radio.biz This is the FlexRadio Systems e-mail Reflector called FlexEdge.
