Holy Semolians. I have never been on the receiving end of a pile-up before.
Just for giggles I decided to fire up SSB on 6m from Dominica. I was
running the F3K barefoot into a 10m loop of wire tuned with an
SGC-231. I am using a hand mic and trying to type callsigns and
reports at the same time. (Need more hands.) I wish I had taken the
time to build an adapter for the F3K to use my headset and boom mic.
I guess they don't get many J7 stations on 6m. The run ran for about
40 minutes until the band went out just about the end of dusk.
Wow!
