Randy:
As far as damaging things, you are OK up to at least +10 dBm continuous,
and much more for short periods.

As far as the data converter overload point while receiving, it varies from
0 dBm on
PreAmp setting -10, to -40 dBm on PreAmp setting +30.  So always use the
lowest PreAmp setting that gets the job done.
