"Does that sound feasible?"

It is more than feasible. You can do that exact thing. I routinely run the
FLEX-3000 and FLEX-1500 simultaneously on the same PC (Win7 x64) from the same
PowerSDR application folder (multiple instances). There is no technical reason
you can't add a SDR-1000 or SoftRock to the mix as well since there isn't a
driver enumeration issue with those legacy type SDRs that exists with multiple
firmware or USB based SDRs, which is the reason for the caveat below.

The database file is there. Rather than spend a lot of time trying to get
this working, I'll just wait for the next release. My long term goal is to be
able to run a 5000A, a 1500 and a SoftRock-like board (or
two) all on the same system using three (or four) instances of PowerSDR. Does
that sound feasible?

Thanks,

This is the FlexRadio Systems e-mail Reflector called FlexEdge. It is used for
posting topics related to SDR software development and experimentalist who are
using beta versions of the software.
