I recently installed several Win 7 64 bit security updates from Microsoft Update while my Flex-3000 was turned on, although PowerSDR was not running. Windows suffered a crash and I had to restore from a week-prior restore point. After reloading several affected applications, including Kaspersky security which reported that it's database had been corrupted, I again installed the Windows updates. This time the Flex-3000 was turned off. The update ran uneventfully.
