Like many here, I use an external keyer. Bencher paddles to an old
Curtis 8044 or SuperKeyer III. For portable use I have an AZ ScQRPions
mini-paddle with a K1EL K10 chip.
All are configured for Iambic mode B.
I also have my trusty old J-38 straight key in // for when I need a good
dit-dahhhhhhhhhhh-dit.
I have played a bit with CWX, but prefer the regular key. Even though my
sending speed has dropped as I get older, ( fingers don't seem to do
what the brain tells them ), I can still bash out code faster with a
paddle then I can with a keyboard.
