Look in Device Manager and see if the FlexRadio device in the Sound Devices 
section has an explanation mark on it.  If so, follow the procedure in my 
e-mail to Don just before this post.

Well things didn't go well with the firewire driver install. My system Win 7 64 
fails to see the Flex-3000. I get the audio Que that a device is present when I 
turn it on but.  Trying to load the program also fails (running as 
administrator) says it can't find the radio. Going to the flex loader and 
trying to install the new bin (running as administrator) nothing happens.

I uninstalled all the previous Flex firewire drivers before I did the
install. It's BETA man :-)    Halp LOL
