Regarding the FMT.....alas, I did not win the $1M prize for first place.........

1. If I want to interrogate the F5K and get frequency data for logging and
analysis, how do I do it? I do have the Dot Net environment installed.

Is there any published information that tells me where to find the data and how
to access it?

If FLDIGI can do it, shouldn't I be able to do it too?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

2. In posts to the Flex lists, I have been told that FLDIGI, and other
programs, log frequency over time....but, how does this help me? If the F5K
does not report frequency in fractions of a HZ, what good does that do me?

---------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Even if I could get frequency data to a fraction of a HZ, I still have
doppler effects to contend with. How do I compensate for doppler effects? I
realize that I can compute the error from the direct digital synthesis chip;
but, wouldn't this error be small compared to doppler shifts?

As I use the radio, the F5K offers capability beyond my wildest dreams. I just
need to find ways to harness some of these capabilities.
