Bob,

The newer netbooks with the 455 processors can, but with careful tuning,
 they only hit 319 on the PassMark benchmarks,  well below the recommended
500 ..   Do not expect high speed CW..    The biggest issue is the most
netbooks,  is that the display will only go to 1024 x 600,  PowerSDR needs
a minim of 1024 x 768 resolution,   unless you have the ability to scroll
the display..   Some netbooks do have the window scrolling available,  but
not all..

Step up to a larger display and faster processor for about $100.    You will
be much happier..

Of course you can operate the Flex via remote,  using VNC variant and Skype
or some other audio transport.
