I did not see what OS you are running,  there is a HotFix 955408 for XP,
 For Win7,  changing the the Power Options to High Performance is really
important,  also disable you Wireless driver with Windows Device manager,
 along with Bluetooth if you have that too.   Also you can try the legacy FW
driver also many have reported a great improvement,  the the DPC checker is
your guide.

To run the DPC checker in the FW driver under Win7 , you must start it by
right clicking the FlexRadio icon,  and Run as Administrator.


I also heard from one iMac user that found the video settings/driver a big
improvement...
