Tim

This is not the answer you are looking for but I'm using the MFJ-4275 and it also has some fan noise. I use it to drive an Ameritron ALS-500M amplifier. As you know when the power supply warms up a little the fans turn on. I operate mostly at night when it is really quiet and the fan noise really stands out then. The computer I use is "overly" cooled with fans so it is quite noisy. Since the computer and the power supply are separated by a few feet I can still determine when the fans turn on. So what I did was simply to move the power supply on the other side of the computer (floor mounted case) to use the computer case as a noise buffer. I no longer here the power supply fans at all. Or perhaps the noise has just combines, but I can not tell
the difference since I no longer here the fans turn on and off.

In any case hope you find a solution.

Don
