Hi folks.
I have gotten Ale to work on my 3K sort of at least, need advice of those who have
been there done that.
I have set up a basic scan on 80-10M and I used tune in PSDR (latest) to be sure I have a good match on all bands as I manually step through them, however when I scan in PC-ALE it reverts to bypass.
That is the expected behavior for the FLEX-3000 ATU with the version of PowerSDR you are using.
Since without the tuner I don't want to Tx I am unable to do soundings. I thought the Flex would remember the settings for the tuner and allow me to do this but either I am missing something
or the rig is not able to hold the settings in memory for scanning.
Currently there isn't an automatic memory function between band changes. The next release of PowerSDR has enhancements to the FLEX-3000 ATU in that area.

My second question has to do with the relay click as it scans, I know a feature has been built into the SW to allow some dual VFO rigs to scan in split on the second VFO without any band switching (relay switching) in Rx while receiving-then if it has to TX it would switch to the other
VFO and allow the proper relay to switch in any needed filtering for TX.

Any thoughts, can it be done?
Not sure about that one. The the ALE software will do that for a TS-2000, then you might be in business.

Thanks,
Ted W3VG
