Now that TNF is available for beta testing, here are a few operational
hints.
1.) Click on the TNF button to enable TNF capability.
2.) Click on the TNF+ to "add" a TNF filter (thatched green bar)
3.) Place you cursor on the TNF green bar and left click to drag the on
the offending signal
4.) With the cursor in the TNF green bar and holding down the left mouse
button, move vertically to change the notch width
5.) With the cursor in the TNF green bar and holding down the left mouse
button and *not* moving, the TNF call out showing the TNF information
will be displayed and then the ZOOM feature will be displayed so you can
easily align and change the width the TNF on the offending signal.
6.) Once TNF is positioned, right click to display the TNF menu. This
is where you change the depth of the notch (3x - a deeper notch), make
it persistent so that it will be "remembered" after PowerSDR is shut
down and re-started, or delete the TNF.
7.) A remembered (persistent) TNF can not be deleted until it is
un-remembered.
8.) You can have up to six 3x (deep) notches in the RX passband.
9.) You can have essentially unlimited TNF defined on any frequency.
10.) You may have to 4x ZOOM in on the Panadapter to adequately see the
TNF to manipulate it.
Enjoy.
