Now that is a very different question

Here is the ABSOLUTE BEST PRACTICE for running the RX image calibrations

1.) Do a Reset to Factory Defaults to use a "clean default DB. Change nothing on the radio. 2.) Toggle the PowerSDR START button a few time to ensure that you do not have distorted audio
3.) Connect a dummy load to ANT-1 (or ANT for a FLEX-3000/1500)
4,) Run the calibration tests
5.) Using the facility in SETUP, import the database copied to your desktop in step 1.
6.) Restart PowerSDR

My answer is use the smallest AUDIO buffer size consistent with stable
    operation on your computer.

The DSP buffer size sets the performance of the filters and other
    algorithms
but the filters are the largest impact on performance here.

Set the sample rate to the lowest rate consistent with how you
    intend to use
the radio since this increases the stability of operation.

Alas, there is often tension between these requirements so the
    answer is "it
depends" and it can be complicated. There is no simple single answer.
