In the past, with other equipment, I've had success getting vacuum
cleaner rubber belts.
I find one with the right diameter and are of the round type.
as the diameter of the belt is usually a tad over 1/4" sometimes I
needed longer screws.
But they are usually flexible/soft enough to absorb vibration and also
funnel the air correctly.
My F5 sits behind my monitor positions so the on/off button is on the
left (close to me) and the bumpy side on the right.
It's also on small wood blocks to give it even more room for exhaust air
to disperse.
I really don't notice the sound at all.
But then I can't hear my xyl either. :-)
