Thanks Dudley! Got it working this morning...what a fabulous capability. The more that I use the Flex radios (I have the F1.5K and F5K) the more impressed I am.
Am having lots of fun recording! Yup, will probably fill up the 685GB disk with numerous recordings! In the Options in the upper left of Wave menu, Set the RX to Pre-Processed (radio IF before SW processing) Set the TX to Post-Processed (All processed back to the radio) Set your sample rate to at least the same as your Sample in the Audio tab of setup. I can explain more if folks want the details, but if you are want the full 192K width of the 5K, use 192K. Hit the Record in the Wave menu.. Remember that these files get large quick. A 5 minute file at 192K record might be over 200 mb. When you stop the recording, it will have the frequency VFO A was set, mode, and time/date stamp. When you play the recording back, you will be tuning within the relative range of the I/Q (IF) of the recording, no absolute frequencies will be displayed in the VFOs.. This is the same thing that you see in the Flex booths at all the shows, works great, just like you were there at the time of the recording.. Hope this resets some of the memory cells.. :-) 73, Dudley WA5QPZ FlexRadio Systems (512) 535-4713, Option 2 Email: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Web: www.flexradio.com<http://www.flex-radio.com> _______________________________________________ Flexedge mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexedge_flex-radio.biz This is the FlexRadio Systems e-mail Reflector called FlexEdge.
