Mmm, seems VAC4.9 full wont install on a 64 bit Windows 8 system (Clean
Install), UAC disabled, even with test mode enabled, security checks
disabled, driver signing requirement disabled and early malware start
disabled...
Will drop a post of the trace file to Eugene just in case.
I did also notice when previously testing a Windows 8 upgrade over Windows
7 and it did require VAC be re-installed again after.
I know it's very early in the cycle of Windows 8 and will probably get
corrected by the time of release... but I am interested non the less.
