To all Reflector subscribers:
Earlier today there were several postings to the FlexRadio User
Reflector that were totally inappropriate and were in direct violation
of the Reflector Rules and Guidelines (please see the following URL for
a complete listing
http://www.flexradio.com/Support.aspx?topic=Reflector_Guidelines).
FlexRadio Systems in no way condones this activity and have taken the
immediate and appropriate action as outlined in the Reflector Rules and
Guidelines.
In addition we have taken the extraordinary measure of putting the User
and FlexEdge Reflectors on temporary full moderated status in order to
ensure that topics and replies of appropriate nature are posted in the
near term. This means that it may take a little time for your topics to
be posted. Please note this is a temporary measure only.
FlexRadio provides these reflectors as a way to freely exchange ideas
ask and offer help to the Flexradio user community. They are intended
for subject matter for and about ham radio and FlexRadio products.
Because we feel it is valuable and worthwhile to maintain an "open"
(un-moderated) reflector, situations like this cannot be proactively
avoided. We ask everyone to please review the Reflector Rules and
Guidelines in order to re-familiarize yourself with them. Please abide
by them too; as we want to continue to provide an open forum for ham
radio discussions and without good reflector etiquette, this will not be
possible.
Please let's treat everyone with respect and dignity. Thank you for
your understanding.
-Tim
