Hello,

I've used my Flex 3000 successfully with fldigi, Multipsk, RMS
Express, and others. I've had some problems with 110A and these problems
led me

to make some observations which I've included here, any help is greatly
appreciated. I suspect that I'm seeing a buffering problem between the
PowerSDR and

VAC, that is shows up most blatantly with M110A loosing sync. M110A is
available to MARS members once they join the appropriate Yahoo group.

I've noticed a direct correlation between first appearance of errors in
M110 and buffer settings on my Power SDR 2.3.5. I suspect that this is NOT a
M110A problem, since I can run two instances of M110A connected directly
input to output, with no Flex running, at all rates: 75bps and above - it
passes the long (327 line text) passing text every time. In the
configuration where I'm observing problems, I run two instances of M1110A
and one instance of PowerSDR. One instance of M110A simply monitors the
output audio of the other instance.

VAC 1 Audio Setup: Audio Driver : Windows WDM-KS; Latency set to  0 ms;
(tried 5ms and higher manual with no positive results). I suspect that I'm
seeing
either an audio driver or Flex software buffer issue. I have the Windows
VAC drivers set to 48K and 96K respectively.
I tried this with both VAC 4.09 and VAC 4.11 (the latest version). I have 1
ms per
interrupt on the Flex input cable and 5 ms per interrupt on the output
cable.

Computer Setup details: Dell Studio XPS 9100 with Intel i7 CPU 930 @ 2.8GHz
with 12 GB RAM, running Win 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 64 bit. I've run
LatencyMon and
My highest kernel latency time is about 700 us, with usual values of well
under
200 us, highest ISR routine exec time of under 150 us and highest DPC exec
time under 650 us.
My hardpage fault counts are low under 5- I do get a hard page fault while
testing 75 bps 110A mode at the moment of error; the perfmon shows this mode
requiring increasing memory
In time - but the amount of memory required is small - under 200Mbytes,

I have applied the Leatrix Win 7 TCP latency Fix (I've also disabled my
local
network connection with no effect), upgraded my BIOS
I use the default Win 7 paging- I experimented with setting smaller paging
areas
and turning it off, with little effect. I have set the power plan to High
Performance.

I also changed Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service startup to
Manual and turned off McAfee Net Guard and Smart Advice

I don't run a wireless connection on this machine.
