These files are intended only for PowerSDR's internal use. Perhaps for
you a how-to is desirable. It isn't really necessary as knowledge of
these files is not needed in order to use PowerSDR.
As for documentation, you may need to do your own research. If you do
you might consider publishing the information in the Flex Radio Wiki
for others to use.
