I just learned the hard way that the first thing one should do before complaining about a problem with any software is to run the following:

insert you operating system media into installation drive. (dvd drive or cd drive) This applies to windows only
Open a command window as administrator.
type "SFC /SCANNOW"
Wait until done.
9 time out of 10 windows will fix itself if there are corrupt system files, now matter how big or small.
Reboot.

If the software still will not run or throws crazy codes, then ask for help.

This saves a lot of time running down easy to fix and hard to find problems.

I have "repaired" PowerSDR twice with this procedure. So you see it was not PowerSDR at all but windows system files causing the problem.

Just thought I would share what has saved me hours of trouble.

Thanks for listening.
