Not sure what you mean - if you are asking how can you retain beam steering, the answer is to get the 6700 instead of the 6500. This thread is discussing the differences between them.

OTOH, Flexes promo pdf on the 6700 sounds like an attractive radio, and my birthday is next week, and I already alerted the YL that I might "need" another radio... And I might "need" it NOW!

Part of the problem with PSDR was the haphazard way it's early development
went. The more recent releases required fewer iterations and had fewer
bugs. It seems that Flex's development has matured substantially.
Regardless, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. I am looking forward
to the ride.
