Ray, How much impact does PIN diode switching have on the noise floor? Is that impact on receive or transmit? Over what frequency bandwidth? What impact would it have on a 500hz bandwidth?
Also, when operating full duplex with separate receive and transmit antennas, is relay closure still required for transmit? There is a GPS clock option. Was a PIN diode option considered for CW/FSK users?
