Problem with this is that this would EXTREMELY limit the Digital Modes that
could be used with the FLEX 6000 and would require an enormous amount of
work on Flex's part to integrate the plethora of Modes that people use, I
would much rather FLEX spend there time with new features and bug fix's.  

Maybe PSK31 wouldn't be to bad but that would leave out all the other FSK
modes, SSTV modes, and countless others including any future modes that come
along that would have to be ported over.

I haven't seen any mention of the philosophy for SmartSDR and digital modes.
It would seem logical to decode the various modes directly in the digital
stream of a slice rather than a D-A transition to use existing sound card
programs?

Anyone heard what the approach will be for digital modes?
