Tim has it exactly right.  While I understand Bret's point I think
that if the 6xxx series is touted as an easily remotable platform
based on ethernet connectivity and it already has two USB ports built
in to it - it would just make perfect sense  to also have those USB
ports available over the LAN/WAN for use at the thin client platform.

I don't think that is making it over complicated...just a step further
enhancing one of the radio's main features.  A one-box radio that will
let you operate the rig and two peripherals remotely....rather than
just the radio.

Anyway...it was just a thought and suggestion....probably not doable
based on the hardware anyway.....or is it? :)
