The Flex 6000 series will be several levels above any of the current radios in 
the ham market,  your ultimate ham transceiver, so to speak.    To get 4 
receivers in the top end current transceivers you would have to purchase 2 of 
them, to get 8 you would need 4 of them,  then you could not operate them 
remotely with a panadapters, and have all that detail that you enjoy with the 
Flex 5000s that you currently have.    Time will tell.
