Yep, I saw that, which is unfortunate about the Wiki. I do know that Neal warned us that would happen.
There is no reason why you can't. All digi modes need at minimum, in and out audio and PTT. Some use CAT control, like WSPR. You just have to tell the application which com port has the PTT line (as well as PSDR) and which audio line is in and which audio line is out. With your Flex, you'll have to turn on VAC to manage the audio. If you sketch it out on paper first, it helps to keep track of ins and outs.
