Subject: [FlexEdge] FYI..Win8 & WiFI DPC latency..

FYI.....

My Laptop which, includes a Qualcomm WiFi device with an Atheros driver,
has always shown DPC's into 4000-5000 usec range repeated at 60 second
intervals until I installed the Win8 upgrade ( from Win7 ).
It seems that MS included a newer Atheros WiFi driver. I had never
been able to find a driver update on the Atheros website.

In exchange for that, I now have ACPI spikes to 1000usec at 10 second
intervals (any ideas ? )
