My situationhave a new (3 mos. old ) Asus laptop with no firewire port
. I have just decided to get a flex 3000 which requires a firewire port
. Suggestions have been to use the express card slot and a adapter but
I have no express card slot on this laptop . My question is thisWould I
be able to just use a usb 3 to fire wire adapter with the radio ? I am
guessing it was not suggested because it would provide less than optimum
results ? Any way that is what looks like my fast inexpensive answer .
If any one uses this type of adapter please let me know how it works for
you . thankyou and Happy thanksgiving . My sympathy to you folks who
dislike Turkey soup or Turkey salad :>) Leftovers
