Hello all, this is my first post. I am seriously considering ordering a
6500. Never having owned a Flex I have some basic questions as to rig
control.
My question is how will the 6500 work with digital modes like JT65. I'm
assuming that a program like JT65-HF will still be required, but will it
all go through the single ethernet connection between computer and rig,
or will an additional USB cable be required? How about HRD/DM780? What
will the setup look like as far as sound card selection in JT65-HF etc.
Forgive me if there are obvious answers to these questions, I just
haven't seen them discussed. Any info will be appreciated.
