For the last month or so, I have had what may be similar problems with
my Windows 8/64 machine. When mine goes, it loses the video and drops
all manner of connection, gives three "trouble tone bursts" indicating a
major malfunction within the computer system. I haven't been able to
find the exact problem but so far, by actually shutting off the power
supply and waiting for the little green diode on the motherboard to go
out before turning it back on, it seems to recover, at least for the
days session. Intel Motherboard w Q6700 Quad core intel processor and
onboard video. USB connected wireless kbd and mouse. happens with or
without DDutil running.

Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I have been running my 5000
with a 64bit Windows 8 machine for months, PowerSDR v2.5.3 ....
Absolutely rock solid ... I rebooted this evening after it installed
about 8 updates ..... PowerSDR crashed within 3 minutes of receive only
.... I confirmed this several times.... I removed the updates dated
4/5/2013 and re-booted .... Seems to be back to normal .... Anybody else
? Or am I just the lucky one?
