Can I suggest you open a ticket with flex?   Sometimes you will not get your
answers on here - if you require a solid answer, then the Ticket system at
Flex works.

I have the same issue here.  5000A with V/U module.  I fed the T/R line of
the flex into a SSB electronics sequencer to control PA and m/m LNA.  When I
power down the 5000A the sequencer sounds like an old multi-vibrator !  At
first I thought it was the fan blades inside the flex hitting something. My
only solution is to kill main pwr to flex and sequencer at the same time
rather than use the on/off switch of the flex.  I'm not real happy doing so
but it will at least save the relays in the sequencer until I can design a
proper fix.

  this as well nothing to do with your amp since i as well switch off the
Acom 1000 first then exit psdr from the pc then switch off the 5000a then 
  i do hear the buffer brrrrrrrrrrr relay this is i do not understand why

  Yes, I get the same result if I switch off the Flex 5K while my homebrew 6
meter amp is still on. I try to remember to switch off the amp first, but
don't always do it.
