When I installed PowerSDR earlier this week and set up for first time operations with a Flex 1500, CW operations using a straight key worked well right out of the box. I uninstalled powerSDR and re-installed it this morning, digital operations work well but CW with a straight key is a problem. I checked the settings and read the users guide but still do not get an transmit using the straight key.. If I check the BREAK IN box I get a series of dashes and the Flex 1500 keys. I get continuous dits and dahs if I actually key down with the straight key and break-in enabled. This happens regardless of whether IAMBIC is checked our not. With the straight key plugged in to the Flex, CWX functions cause a continuous series of dashes to be sent if I have the straight key plugged in regardless of Iambic checked our not. The users guide mentions a mono cable setting in SETUP but this option is not in the current version of PowerSDR . The straight key works fine when plugged in to other rigs and worked well with the flex yesterday.
