In general, the FLEX Firewire driver is not a significant contributor to DPCs. These usually result from other hardware in your PC. The FLEX 4.x Firewire driver is much less susceptible to long duration DPC events and, if operating with a PC where the Firewire card is working properly and can handle the increased efficiency of the streaming driver architecture, PowerSDR will not freeze when a long duration DPC event occurs.
