In general, the FLEX Firewire driver is not a significant contributor to
DPCs. These usually result from other hardware in your PC. The FLEX
4.x Firewire driver is much less susceptible to long duration DPC events
and, if operating with a PC where the Firewire card is working properly
and can handle the increased efficiency of the streaming driver
architecture, PowerSDR will not freeze when a long duration DPC event
occurs.
